PUBLIC NOTICE - Notice of Intent to Remediate to an Environmental Standard & Notification of a Final Report Submission.

Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2. Notice is hereby given that Polylimnio, LLC has submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection a Notice of Intent to Remediate and a notice of intent to submit a Final Report for a site located at 337 Summit Drive, Barrett Township, Monroe County.
This Notice of Intent to Remediate and this Final Report state that the site is currently a residential property.
The site has been found to be contaminated with heating oil which had contaminated soil underlying the site and pit water that accumulated in the excavation. Polylimnio, LLC has indicated that the remediation measures included characterization of the impacts in soil and pit water and collection of attainment samples.
The anticipated future use of the property will be for residential purposes
