Donald was a master craftsman with a specialty in fine woodwork. He later worked as a school resource officer for the Pocono Mountain School District. An extremely talented man, he was a singer/songwriter with perfect pitch and the skill to play 18 different instruments, his favorite being his 12-string guitar. Donald coached multiple generations of little league baseball, softball and basketball players for Barrett Township and Pocono Mountain. He was also an ace marksman, a champion horseshoe player and fearsome bass fisherman.
Family was everything to Donald, and he dedicated his entire life to them.
