Donald Langsdorf Obituary (1956 - 2021)

Donald William Langsdorf Jr., 65, of Canadensis, died Saturday, November 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his closest family. He was the loving husband of Katherine Maria (Bader) Langsdorf with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Donald William Sr. and Sally Lee (Loper) Langsdorf.
Donald was a master craftsman with a specialty in fine woodwork. He later worked as a school resource officer for the Pocono Mountain School District. An extremely talented man, he was a singer/songwriter with perfect pitch and the skill to play 18 different instruments, his favorite being his 12-string guitar. Donald coached multiple generations of little league baseball, softball and basketball players for Barrett Township and Pocono Mountain. He was also an ace marksman, a champion horseshoe player and fearsome bass fisherman.
Family was everything to Donald, and he dedicated his entire life to them. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Donald William Langsdorf, III of Canadensis; daughter, Jennifer Neff and her husband, Jason of Canadensis; grandchildren: Jason Jr. and Jaime Lee Neff of Canadensis; brother, Wayne Langsdorf of Whitehall; and nephews: Benjamin and Ian of Whitehall.
There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Pastor Nathan King will conduct a prayer service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery, 406 Swiftwater Road, Swiftwater.
