Daniel Knecht, a beloved member of the Poconos community. Daniel served honorably in the United States Army Reserves, and later became a real estate agent and licensed broker in the Poconos in 1972. He was passionate about his work and took great pride in helping his clients find their forever homes. His dedication to his clients was evident in the many lifelong friendships he formed with them.
In addition to his successful career, Daniel was also a devoted family man. He loved taking his family on vacations to Walt Disney World, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Daniel was also an active member of the Masonic lodge, where he served as past master at Pocono Lodge 780 and was proud to have achieved the rank of 33rd degree mason.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Diana (Reinhardt) Knecht; and their two children, Karen (Knecht) Hardy and her husband Shane Hardy, and Keith Knecht and his wife Tammi Knecht. He was a proud grandfather to Brooke (Hardy) Davidson and her husband, Jake Davidson, Tyler Hardy, Brianna Hardy, Emily Knecht, Mason Hardy; and several great-grandchildren, Elliott Davidson, Scarlett Davidson, Ayra Furino and Paislee Furino. His legacy will live on through the memories he created with his family, friends, and clients.
Daniel's family would like to express their gratitude to Pleasant Valley Manor for the care they provided to him.
