Exciting News: Moving Forward Together with Your Support!
In the fall of 2023, The Friendly Community Center opened a second location at the Barrett Administrative Recreation Complex. This was an essential move as our membership numbers had outgrown the other location on Route 191. This new location provides us with space for our programs, being located in a community hub, plus the ability to reach even more individuals in our areas of service. Your support has been instrumental in making this transition possible, and we, The FCC, are eager to continue our mission from this new, vibrant location.
As part of our strategic growth and commitment to better serve our community, we have decided to sell our original building. This decision was made with careful consideration of our long-term goals and sustainability. While this marks the end of an era for us, it also opens up new opportunities for growth and impact.
In recognition of your previous support, we plan to make a Donor Wall at our new location to pay tribute to the people responsible for our beginnings.
Once again, THANK YOU for your unwavering support. We couldn't have come this far without you, and we are excited about the future that lies ahead.
