Skytop Lodge (at 1 Skytop Lodge Road in Skytop) offers a weather-protected rink. The rink is open to the public for skating sessions every day with differing daily hours during the winter season. Conditions permitting, ice skating is also offered on the lake. Skate rentals are available. In 2000, Barrett Township, Paradise Townships and Mount Pocono Borough began working together, along with the Monroe County Open Space Commission, to provide parks and recreation for area residents. In 2014, Mount Pocono withdrew from PARC. Through the Commission, Skywood Park, Seven Pines Park and Ice Lake provide recreation opportunities and natural experiences for area residents.
