Barrett Community School

Quick Survey:

We are looking at two options for long term, a charter school funded by the state and a tuition based private school. Both would take 1 yr minimum for paper work and so forth. Meanwhile, I am looking to build momentum with a group setting cyber school. If i can demonstrate substantial interest PM school district expressed to me that they would be interested in participating.  This would allow for smooth transitions anyone might want to make as we would be follow the district curriculum and would allow participation in PM extra curricular activities.

Homeschool Co-op?

Home-educated students must be evaluated by a certified teacher, school psychologist, or school administrator once they reach third grade, eight years old, or have been in a public or private school before starting their home education program. The specific requirements of a qualified Pennsylvania evaluator are listed on the PDE web site FAQ page.
