From her early years, she has had an illustrious career spanning over 60 years, which includes waitressing at Rollo’s in New Brunswick, a fourth-grade teacher at Saint Mary’s of Mount Virgin in New Brunswick, NJ, a partner in JT Dairy Bar in Mountainhome, PA, and the Candy Lady at Callie’s Candy Kitchen in Mountainhome, PA. Thérèse was the owner of Terasina’s Fancy Italian Pastry Shop in Mountainhome, PA, where she made wonderful treats and supplied many resorts with her delicious desserts. Her last job before retirement was for Rutgers University as an admissions administrator.
Her talents extended beyond the kitchen as she was also an avid knitter, creating beautiful pieces that will be cherished by her loved ones. She also made many newborn baby hats and donated them to Brick Hospital in New Jersey.
Thérèse was a woman of deep faith, attending the Roman Catholic Church throughout her life. Her spiritual beliefs were a source of strength and comfort to her, serving as a guiding light on her journey.
