MOUNTAINHOME, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU-TV) — Two tickets with identical numbers matched Friday’s drawing of the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 Jackpot, and both came from the same supermarket.

Each ticket matched the five balls drawn with 4-8-11-14-25.

Did we save money by regionalizing police?

Did we save money by switching from Barrett Township to Pocono Mountain Regional police?

I'm going through the "Public Safety - Police" total expense lines for years available to me and here is what I have:

China 3 Robbed (again) December 27, 2020

China III was robbed again last night. Police were on scene.

the owners said it looked like the same guy who robbed them last time and they ran toward cvs it happened in the parking lot as they were leaving

DCNR works to contain brush fire in the Poconos

A brush fire that destroyed about 600 acres of Pennsylvania State Game Lands in Monroe County is now a case of suspected arson.

A brush fire started in this area of Devil's Hole Trail on Saturday night within State Game Lands in Barrett Township, near Swiftwater.

Knotweed clogs creeks almost everywhere in Monroe County, and Mountainhome’s Mill Creek in Barrett Township is no exception. A project to demonstrate how it can be eradicated is underway there with help from Brodhead Watershed Association.

Veteran's Day Ceremony - 2020

With only a short time before the 2019-20 legislative session comes to a close, I am proud to announce that my school board email legislation (House Bill 703) will advance to the governor’s desk for approval and her pediatric vision screening bill (House Bill 1342) passed the full House.
