Stuart Malin (Obituary)

Stuart Malin, of Canadensis, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 03, 2023 at the age of 76. He was born on October 22, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Dorothy (Moss) and Murray Malin.
Stuart taught for over 30 years in Plainfield School System in Plainfield, New Jersey. He retired to Canadensis and went on to teach in the Northampton Community college for ten years.

Philip Paul Dente, II, 79 Canadensis, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023.

Born February 5, 1943, in Exeter he was the son of the late Philip “Fritz” and Josephine (Pepe) Dente. Philip was the husband of the late Patricia (Phillips) Dente.

He was the owner and operator of The Village View and was a former supervisor of Barrett Township. Phil was an avid Eagles fan (Go Birds!), a devoted father and grandfather, and cartoonist who loved golfing, card games, spending time with his family, and spoiling his grandkids and great-grandkids, not necessarily in that order.

Kerry Abrams - Obituary

Kerry "Burrhead" "Abe" "Abraham" Arthur Abrams, 56 of Canadensis, suddenly passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. Born in Honesdale, he was the son of Dewitt and Barbara (Finan) Abrams. Kerry was the husband of Nicole (Stotsenburg) Abrams. He worked as a welder and heavy equipment operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for over 34 years. Kerry was a member of the Barrett Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Oak Springs Sportsman Club. Kerry enjoyed 4 wheeling, fishing and hunting. Above all, he loved his Jeeps as well as, reminiscing and sharing old time stories with his loved ones.

Anna Young Obituary

Anna Victoria Young, 82, of Cresco, died peacefully in her daughter's home in Belvidere, New Jersey on Friday, November 4, 2022.

Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late John and Anita (Garcia) Berrios and loving wife of the late Joseph (Rusty) Young.

Anna will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joseph Young and his wife Cathy, Debra Stensrud and her husband John, Bruce Young and Walter Young and his wife Jenny and grandchildren Ryan, Michael, Brandi, Audrey, Sam, and Jack; sisters, Elsie Gedman and Sonia Hunter along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private gathering with immediate family.
