Coming soon!   The Gunderson property was acquired by Barrett Township several years ago.  It is planned to be used by Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other small groups.  It features over 35 acres of wooded property, and several small buildings. 

High Acres Park has a new policy in place for the 2018 season. Skytop Lodge (at 1 Skytop Lodge Road in Skytop) offers a weather-protected rink. The rink is open to the public for skating sessions every day with differing daily hours during the winter season. Conditions permitting, ice skating is also offered on the lake. Skate rentals are available. Monroe County Magisterial District Court

In 2000, Barrett Township, Paradise Townships and Mount Pocono Borough began working together, along with the Monroe County Open Space Commission, to provide parks and recreation for area residents. In 2014, Mount Pocono withdrew from PARC. Through the Commission, Skywood Park, Seven Pines Park and Ice Lake provide recreation opportunities and natural experiences for area residents.
